What do you love about your job?
I have always been a practical based learner and individual. Finding an occupation that stimulates and captured me was a challenge. My current job captures all my skills and many interests from previous employment and trade skills to achieve an outcome that benefits the community and individuals, everyday. For me, my job is not just about making a living, I'm using my skills to help people when they need help the most. I also love how no two days are the same. I can begin my day at one location and find myself half way across the state before lunchtime answering someone's call for help.
What career advice would you give to your younger self?
Your grades do not define you. The next few years are just the beginning of your adult adventure, always try to do your best but know the options are endless out there, beyond school. The right attitude and perseverance will prove more advantageous than any grade or accolade you can be awarding during your time at school. Trust what your school has done for you.
