Public involvement will play a key role in shaping the San Marcos Transportation Corridors Study. A variety of public involvement activities will be used to receive input from a broad range of perspectives to inform these efforts. Opportunities to participate and provide input are available online, by phone, and by mail.

Public Involvement Round 1

The first round of public involvement for the San Marcos Transportation Corridors Study included a series of focus groups and a virtual public meeting which was available from August 31, 2020 – October 12, 2020. A total of 199 survey responses and more than 1000 mapped comments were received and will be used to identify strategies and concepts for future improvement and development options in San Marcos.

Public Involvement Round 2

The second round of public involvement for the San Marcos Transportation Corridors study included potential improvement ideas and preliminary concepts for the activity centers and transportation corridors. The virtual public meeting was available from May 3 – June 4, 2021. The feedback collected will be used to refine the concepts for future improvement and development options in San Marcos.

Public Involvement Round 3

The third round of public involvement for the San Marcos Transportation Corridors study includes refined improvement ideas and concepts for the activity centers and transportation corridors. The virtual open house is available from November 2 – December 3, 2021. The feedback collected will be used for the final report with recommendations for development options in San Marcos.
