Public involvement will play a key role in shaping the San Marcos Transportation Corridors Study. A variety of public involvement activities will be used to receive input from a broad range of perspectives to inform these efforts. Opportunities to participate and provide input are available online, by phone, and by mail.

Public Involvement Round 1

The first round of public involvement for the San Marcos Transportation Corridors Study included a series of focus groups and a virtual public meeting which was available from August 31, 2020 – October 12, 2020. A total of 199 survey responses and more than 1000 mapped comments were received and will be used to identify strategies and concepts for future improvement and development options in San Marcos.

Upcoming Public Involvement

During the week of March 1-3, the San Marcos Transportation Corridors Study will host a design workshop with virtual opportunities to provide input. Participants will view concepts and strategies for each of the centers and corridors and share their thoughts. Following the Design Workshop, the Study will host a virtual public meeting to present refined concepts and strategies with the public for review. More details coming soon!
